At the Academy at Craig Ranch, we believe that a child's spiritual growth is just as important as their academic or social development. That's why we've built our early learning program around Christ-centered guidance, rooted in biblical truth and guided by intentional, compassionate care.

You won't find this approach at every early learning institution.

Many schools focus solely on academics or social skills, neglecting the spiritual aspect of a child's growth. But we know that nurturing a child's relationship with God is essential for their overall well-being and success in life.

As Dr. Becky says in her book "Good Inside," "Our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are deeply interconnected." This means that when we ignore one aspect of a child's development (like their spiritual growth), we're missing out on the opportunity to help them grow in other areas as well.

At the Academy at Craig Ranch, our Christ-centered guidance isn't just an added extra or a nice-to-have. It's at the core of everything we do.

From Bible storytime to intentional prayer and meditation breaks, we're dedicated to helping young learners develop a strong spiritual foundation that will serve them throughout their lives.

We understand that not every family values spiritual growth in the same way we do. That's okay. What matters most is that families know they have options when it comes to early learning.

Our school exists to partner with families who share our commitment to nurturing the whole child – spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally – through Christ-centered early learning rooted in biblical truth and guided by intentional, compassionate care.

FAQ:

What makes your approach different from traditional early learning institutions? Our approach is unique because it places spiritual growth at the center of our curriculum. Many traditional early learning institutions focus solely on academics or social skills, neglecting the spiritual aspect of a child's growth.

  • How do you measure the effectiveness of your Christ-centered guidance? We don't measure the effectiveness of our Christ-centered guidance with metrics or optimization. Instead, we trust that God is at work in the lives of our young learners and that our intentional care will bear fruit over time. We believe that spiritual growth cannot be reduced to a set of outcomes or performance-driven goals. It's about nurturing a deep connection with God that will last a lifetime.
  • How do you incorporate spiritual guidance into your academic curriculum? We don't see spiritual guidance as separate from our academic curriculum. Instead, we believe that spiritual growth is integral to academic success. That's why we integrate Bible stories and biblical truths into our lessons, and why we encourage our young learners to pray and meditate throughout the day. We believe that when a child feels God's presence in their learning, they're more likely to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
